Disney trip

The Stevenson clan embarked on a wonderful trip to Florida this year! It was our first big trip together as a family where the destination was somewhere other than to visit extended family. It was exciting and new. It was unexpected that we'd have the opportunity top go and we kept it a secret from the kids until the weekend we left. I will admit telling them last minute left them a bit skeptical. Buddy's reaction was a little sarcastic. "Oh yeah sure we're flying to Disney world. Then the next day we'll fly to blah blah blah." Silly boy we'll show you! ...
All three kids were excellent plane riders! They got to see the ocean from the air before we landed and that was very exciting. We found our hotel and tried to get too bed early because the next day (my birthday) was a big one! We went top the magic kingdom! Both girls dressed up. Olivia had on her Minnie mouse dress and Evy her Ariel costume. Buddy wore a marvel shirt- he wasn't in the mood to dress up.
Our little family of five lasted 12 hours at the magic kingdom woohoo! The kids had a blast and so did we. It was such a fun day. Buddy lived the pirates of the Caribbean ride so much that we boarded out about 4-5 times. Evy got her wish to meet Ariel. She got to sit with her and take pictures with her. What a special day for her. She was beaming. Olivia even got to join in for a couple pictures and even she looked so excited even at less than 2 years old. She knew.
The haunted mansion was a toss up. Evy thought it was hilarious and wanted to ride again while buddy who stuffed his face in his dad's arm pit and literally saw none of the ride while he was crying never wanted to see it again! Olivia handled it quite well. She is even learning from her uncles how to do a good teasing because while we stood in line for later rides she would point out in the crowd and yell oh no! Ghost is coming!... What a stinker! Not even 2 and learning to torture her big brother. Funny girl.
We had so much fun, it really was magical.
